What This Test Measures

  • ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase)

    An enzyme found mainly in the liver.

  • AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase)

    An enzyme found in the liver, heart and muscles.

  • GGT (Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase)

    An enzyme found mainly in the liver, and also in the kidneys and pancreas.

  • Fasting Glucose

    The amount of sugar in your blood after a period without eating.

  • Average Blood Sugar (HbA1c)

    Your average blood sugar over roughly the past two to three months.

  • Total Bilirubin

    A yellowish substance from the normal breakdown of red blood cells, processed by the liver.

  • Albumin

    The most plentiful protein in your blood, made by the liver.

  • Lipid Profile

    Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides: the main fats carried in your blood.

  • Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1)

How It Works
