What This Test Measures
Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1)
The main protein in HDL cholesterol particles.
Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
The main protein on LDL and similar cholesterol-carrying particles, one per particle.
Lipoprotein(a)
A cholesterol-carrying particle whose level is largely inherited.
VLDL (Very Low-Density Lipoprotein)
A particle made by the liver that carries triglycerides through the blood.
Inflammation (hs-CRP)
High-sensitivity C-reactive protein, a general marker of inflammation in the body.
Lipid Profile
Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides: the main fats carried in your blood.

How It Works

At home, with the painless lancet in the kit. Four or five drops of blood are enough for every marker on this test.
